About Our Show:

Under the direction of Elizabeth Cordes, Danielle LaMere, and Kendall Davison, this year’s camp participants will produce and perform Anastasia the Musical: Youth Edition during the month of July. This is a new version of the musical and we will be one of the first productions in the country!

Because of the short number of rehearsal days leading up to the performances, campers must fully commit to this schedule with no exceptions - be on time and prepared to work hard! All participants will assist with all aspects of the production including acting, singing, dancing, costuming, prop building, set painting, makeup and period hair styling.

There will be four performances: Friday, July 26, two performances on Saturday, July 27, and Sunday, July 28. The first two performances will take place at the Tupper Lake Middle-High School, and the Saturday evening and Sunday performance locations will be announced at a later date.

About Anastasia:

"Anastasia: The Musical is the spectacular new musical about discovering who you are and defining who you’re meant to be. This 60-minute adaptation of the Broadway hit is specially tailored for young actors.

"From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, creators of such Broadway classics as Ragtime and Once On This Island, this dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family."
